So he's already in and we're still looking for 1. Basically we've lost both of the DPS from Team 1 over the last couple of weeks, unless Nysha's job situation changes.

So our second week in EV went much smoother on the first 2 bosses. We had a wipe due to a bug on Gharj but got back up and kicked his butt. Then we banged our heads against the puzzle boss (Ancient Pylons) and we're still trying to figure out what was wrong (bug/not enough dps/too much extra clicking/etc) since our experiences did not match up to the strategy we had seen beforehand.
Regardless, it was a good run, we're still all learning the fights and there was loot distributed to most (if not all) and even some to the vendor as we had no Synthweavers to get the schematic that dropped.

It was a fun run.. I greatly enjoyed.
still researching the Ancient Pylon fight to see how we can beat it... the videos are not lining up with our experience... yet...
FYI... We lost Levin last night.. he was recruited away from the Order to a HC Raiding guild. His alts will remain in the Order but the Levin toon is gone.

Good work guys, keep it up! Just want to say that even though I don't think Torun will ever really be able to do ops for several months, I do like to follow the progress.
That's too bad about Levin, hopefully someone can fill his spot without too many issues.

So I did alot of digging this week mainly cause no one is clearly stating it.. but I'm pretty confident now that the Pylons do infact have a very tight enrage timer that is being represented by the 5 Beasts o death....
I couldn't determine what the exact time was but it did sound like we should put our weakest dpsers on the pylons and just have them ignore everything else and click as fast as possible.

Does the North-South-South-North order still matter?

Does not appear so in Normal mode.. that seems to be the complexity added for Hard Mode completion only.

Wrap up for 27 Feb:
We filled in our missing spots tonight with Adara and Airfree'taa and welcomed Raymont as a new member of the team.
Overall it was a very successful run. We had no more than 2 tries on any boss and finished up with defeating the Infernal Council (4th boss). Loot was had by many (I got my 3rd pair of the gloves for some reason) but unfortunately all of the schematics except 1 became vendor fodder.* We ended at 10 PM CST on that good note.
Gisben, we'll see you back for tanking duties next week. And we can still use a permanent dps to fill an open slot. If you're interested, let Gisben know or post in the recruiting thread.
*For the curious, we had no cybertech, armortech, or synthweaving, but lots of artifice and biochem.

You guys, I am so, so sorry I forgot about this. I was supposed to fill in as offtank, but I totally blanked on it. The last few days have been super eventful for me and my mind has been everywhere but TOR.
Glad you guys had so much success, though! Rock on!

Wrap up for 5 March 2012:
We got to the second phase of Soa (the final boss of EV) this week and are still trying to learn his mechanics. Most of the other boss fights were not that tough although we did wipe once on the Pylons (I blame me because Gisben died fairly early), but we got it the second try no problem. Donal joined us for his first time with the group, but had to leave before the Council due to ISP issues. Hopefully that will be better by next week. We've been moving faster now that we have some better gear and are starting to really get a handle of the fights. We were at the Council at about the 1.5 hour mark this week.
We learned NEVER release during a boss fight unless it is a wipe. You will not get credit for the kill, nor can get you get any loot.
We're thinking about next week trying out Karagga's palace just for a change of scenery (and then I won't win the gloves for a 5th week in a row - so sorry Ren!).

It was a blast running with you all. You're a lot of fun and work really well. I wish we ran a second night weekly for another shot at Soa.
