Greetings,

I have been chatting with people, and we will be trying to get another night of Ilum pvp raiding going tomorrow night. We will probably start around 8pm CST, but nothing is for certain.

This will probably be the last World War for a while, as the changes in the upcoming 1.1.5 patch are going to make Warzones the prime place to pvp. While this patch may not hit right away, a lot of the hardcore pvp groups are basically saying they don't plan on going to Ilum anymore because of this.

So bad news, Ilum wars may be on the decline, good news is that Warzones should be available more often through the day.


As for the actual event tomorrow (if it happens). Best thing to do will be to PM me so that I can find an open group through vent (I'll be on vent with both Republic and Empire to try and coordinate). Last time there was some angst in getting invites, and having to wait for turns in the rotation and people complained. I would like to point out that those of us organizing were actually in place on Ilum for an hour and half before the event started, and didn't get to fight until about an hour in. So if you have to wait 10 or 15 minutes to get an invite please be patient.

Thanks for the information Torun... I really hope that this doesn't kill Ilum that would be sad.. hopefully the Devs are paying attention to the chats so they can alter what will actually happen in Ilum to keep people coming.


At the very least I'd love to perhaps a regular for fun throwdown against another Empire guild...


Regardless.... I do plan to be there tonight to participate.

I'll probably be mostly doing traffic control tonight, so feel free to contact me about getting into groups. I finished my Ilum weekly yesterday, and have done the daily already this morning, so I can focus on getting people playing and having fun.

Let's go show them how we do this.

I am also looking to other Empire guilds to see if they want to do a joint event fight in the future even after the changes.

My tips for completing (which is going to be pointless soon) is to try and go real early in the morning or real late at night to collect, as usually you only have to compete against one or two people.

Any other night, the trick is to get a ops group and try and pick fights with Imperials. I did that three times yesterday and managed to rack up about 120 kills. The other 30 I got from collecting. Clearly killing is the "easiest" way, but you need two big groups, and you need both Republic and Imperials to cooperate.

Hope everyone had fun last night. Sorry to those who couldn't get in, most of the groups were getting full about 7:40pm.

As for the future, I think I will try and keep things going, but I don't know when it will happen. Stay Tuned.
