So special events are always fun to have meet ups but they are so few and far between and I'd rather not wait for Gen-Con to roll around.

Bacon and I were talking a few weeks back that it would be enjoyable to get the gamer nation together in RL sooner than later. I mean it is fun and all to to WWBT and other ops and fp's together using vent etc, but is obviously entirely different to actually do RL gaming and hang outs.

I know that my RL Board / tabletop gaming has suffered drastically since the beta testing days of SWTOR and I want/need to get that back to better levels as I miss it dearly.

I'd love to see gamer nation taking steps to put together outings to local game stores to game, fooding, maybe some imbibing the special drinky drink of the gods after.

Bacon and I both live in Chicagoland and would love to have a meet up sometime.

Just throwing the ball out there to see if anyone would be up for such a thing.

Chicago-land would likely be manageable for me from time to time. I live in West Michigan, so I likely could find a weekend-day that I could drive in, do some gaming and drive home that night.

Of course my master's classes are eating up too much of my time for me to get on SWTOR currently for me to get to know my guildies.

That's great to hear (re: the meetup option, not the lack of time.. )! I'd love to get a meet up to happen, but we need to have more of the Chicago-area base of gamer nation to see this post and respond so epicness can happen
