Lock S-Foils in Attack Position

There are lots of ways to build a TIE swarm. I’m starting with this one primarily to highlight a lot of the new pilots and their synergy together more than anything else. A Black Squadron Juke swarm or just classic eight TIE’s will probably be the most effective.

The four TIEs in Inferno Squadron all have abilities that play off each other. Seyn fires first, hopes to get a crit. If she does, she gets a damage card under shields. Now, Del Meeko will protect the swarm from that ship. Gideon can now fire and deal extra damage. Howlrunner helps on the accuracy with free rerolls (that she can now take advantage of aswell) and Iden is there to keep the first ship to die alive.

Meanwhile, Wampa is your secret weapon, your Imperial Biggs. He’s a lowly I1. If anyone decides to shoot him to negate his bonus die, that’s one less ship shooting at your more valuable pilots.

With less AOE damage, fewer defense options and less free attack mods, the swarm should make a comeback.

Variations

As I mentioned, there are a lot of ways to build a TIE swarm. To stick with this basic set up, the only thing you could really do to add any mods would be to change Wampa to an Academy, giving you seven points. That could give you Elusive on two ships, probably Howlrunner and Del Meeko since their your group buffers. That leaves you one point to give Seyn Marksmanship (yes, really). It only works in bullseye arc, but at one point for increased odds of triggering her ability, why not?
