Welcome to my third Holiday Special of December 2021. Whatever holiday/s you are celebrating this month, I wish you happiness and joy.

Dickens’ Ebenezer Scrooge might be the ultimate example of a Christmas Heel-Face Turn.

But Dr. Seuss’ The Grinch is the penultimate. Or, it might be the other way around. After all, the TV Tropes page linked above is graced by Before & After portraits of The Grinch, as he appears in Chuck Jones’ 1966 animated version. My favorite. So I bring The Grinch and his faithful dog Max, statted for Steve Jackson Games’ Toon and ready to join your RPG group.
Note that The Grinch’s Description, Natural Enemy, Beliefs, and Goal are all pre-Christmas Day. For Christmas Day and after, he has no Natural Enemy; Description is “Has heart that grew 3 sizes;” and Beliefs and Goal are polar opposites of originals.

Max’s Description, Beliefs, and Goal also change. Description: An honored canine friend. Belief (2) is “The Grinch and the Whos are my very good friends.” His new Goal is “Enjoy my new life.”

THE GRINCH

Description: A perpetually sour-faced creature with green fur & a heart 2 sizes too small
Natural Enemy: Whos of Whoville
Belief 1: I hate everyone but Max (& I don’t think I like him much)
Belief 2: Christmas is a frivolous, noisy, troublesome holiday that annoys me no end
Belief 3: Lying and stealing solve most problems
Goal: Obliterate the Whos’ Christmas joy (& probably all their other joys as well)
