Bonus Article – Wedge Antilles and Biggs Darklighter

While not necessarily leaders of the Rebellion, one would be hard pressed to find two members who were more instrumental in preserving its very existence. Both Wedge Antilles and Biggs Darklighter were part of Luke Skywalker’s final attack run that destroyed the first Death Star at the Battle of Yavin. They did their job of running interference against Darth Vader’s TIE Fighter in the trench. Wedge survived to become a prominent figure in the Rebellion and later the New Republic as the commander of Rogue Squadron. However, Biggs ended up giving his life to protect his childhood friend in that trench, buying Luke precious seconds to continue on his attack run.

There is nothing overly fancy about either of these builds. These men were both fantastic pilots even by the standards of great pilots, both of them at home in the cockpit of whatever vehicle they were given. While they may not necessarily pose much of a threat on foot, they can give even Pilot characters a run for their money when they get behind the stick.
