Now, you can add these deadly opponents to your Star Wars RPG. Get ready to turn up the heat in your Age of Rebellion campaign!
Stormtrooper Specialty Corps: Incinerator Trooper
Clad in heat-resistant stormtrooper armor and marked with red markings and pauldron, incinerator troopers are elite specialists of the Imperial Stormtrooper Corps. Using heavy flame projectors these fearsome troopers are called in to clear bunkers, emplacements, and other structures of those who would resist the Empire. With their weapons fed by fuel tanks worn on a backpack, incinerator troopers can engage targets at a longer range than with a standard flame projector and are able to put a higher volume of burning fuel on target.
Incinerator troopers are rarely deployed as a full unit as they fulfill more of a support role for other stormtrooper units. They are called in when other Imperial forces run into fortified enemies and want to burn them out. In these instances the other troops will flank and defend the incinerator specialists as they work alone or in pairs to systematically clear enemy forces. Even so, incinerator troopers are seemingly fearless and will sometimes wade into battle ahead of their comrades and put themselves into unnecessary danger.
