Greetings Gamers! Have you ever clicked on a d20Radio link and ended up not here? Has it happened sometimes but not others? Well, let me tell you, it’s been a beast to track down what was causing this breach. As none of us here at d20 Radio are web experts, we barely qualify as amateurs, there was a lot of shots in the dark at trying to fix it. Because the problem was so inconsistent it proved remarkably difficult to track down.
But thanks to the tireless efforts of our own Dave Villegas, we’ve finally identified the problem. Hidden deep, in several places, was some malicious code that would force redirects away from the website. The code was set up to do this only under certain circumstances and then not every time. It does not look like it affected anything but redirects, but if you have an account on the blog its never a bad idea to change your password.
The code has been cleared out and we have extra security systems running to prevent this from happening again. If you do see this problem crop up, please let us know (gmwayne@d20radio.com) and we’ll raise another army to do battle with it.
