We’re sticking with the golem theme this week as I bring you the Light Golem. These spirits of divine light are bound into suits of armor at their creation. However, the very nature of the spirits causes these golems to be slightly more amorphous than others (though still immune to all transmutation magics that would alter its form) and causes the light to continually spill out between the joints of the armor. Sometimes even consume portions of it, turning parts of its “body” into pure divine light. These creations are also one of the only known golems that fly as their only mode of transport. These “light golems” are often seen guarding temples to good aligned deities in many of the larger cities (or more accurately, guarding the holy relics those temples hold within their vaults), though they have been spotted in other locales guarding more secular treasures as well.
